  13. I have two Amigas, an old A2000 and A4000/040. I have only one
  14. printer, which is connected to the A4000. Sometimes it would be nice
  15. to print something from the A2000 also. I already have an RS232 wire
  16. between the machines, but I really didn't want to put up another cable
  17. for the printer. This is where I made SerPar.

  19. SerPar is a program which simply opens a small window and then copies
  20. everything from the serial port to the parallel port. When its window
  21. is closed, it quits. This way I can set A2000 to print everything to
  22. the serial port and redirect the output to the printer on my A4000.

  26. SerPar requires at least AmigaOS 2.0 to run (sorry 1.3 owners, but I
  27. _really_ consider 1.3 to be obsolete).
